On behalf of Spindox, I work for skylogic (eutelsat) as a network engineer in the telecommunications sector/field ( satellite communications) and our job can be described as follows:
-To design and carry out testing activities ( mainly: performance , web browsing ,ping, iperf and voip tests) related to configurations and features of both new services and evolutions of existing services
-To perform technical feasibility analysis aimed at providing a feedback on proposed changes to configurations and features of existing services
-To design and develop automation frameworks and the related tools and script, with the aim of enhancing the efficiency of operational activities
-To produce reporting, when requested, on the technical activities carried out and on specific topics (e.g. tests carried out for a specific customer/partner)

During this period I worked in the laboratory of TELECOM ITALIA in Turin as a Test Validation Engineer in the Telecommunications sector/field on behalf of Capgemini engineering.

My skills were focused on: Validation and Verification Tests on Access Gateway devices and analysis of network and voice traffic at all levels in the IMS network. Precisely, worked on home modems for different TIM suppliers (e.g.: ZTE, Technicolor, SAGEMCOM) which can be described as follows:
- Testing Activities: ACS interworking, GUI, Networking, Backup & Restore, Voice Service VoIP
- Tracking of anomalies and support to provider for bug fixes
- Maintenance, Change Request and Regression for new software/feature release
- Drafting of the documentation/reporting for the Qualification Testing on the Net

I was mainly involved in the Networking Multiservices tests (Networking Core, MABR, Multimedia Services, Data Traffic Performances or Stress tests).
