I took responsibility for the existing telemedicine product, with the goal of improving its usability for doctors and patients while optimizing development processes and reducing technical complexity and increasing release velocity.

Main responsibilities:

• Analyzed the platform’s current state and defined improvement priorities, avoiding over-engineering.
• Simplified UX/UI flows, reducing the number of operational steps for doctors and patients and improving platform adoption.
• Reviewed the architecture and development processes with a focus on maintainability, code quality, and stability.
• Introduced AI (NLP) modules to automate manual tasks (e.g., clinical document categorization, generation of anamnesis summaries), reducing operational time.
• Managed the backlog and sprint planning, coordinating cross-functional teams (mobile, backend, AI, and design) within an Agile/Scrum framework.
• Collected feedback from various stakeholders (management, doctors, patients) and translated it into concrete technical requirements for the development team.

Technical lead for the development of mobile apps for patients and doctors (React Native), responsible for software delivery and quality.

I worked on on the web and mobile frontend development of several editorial products for Il Sole 24 Ore, including vertical newspapers and technical guides aimed at professionals.

Responsibilities and activities:

• Initially worked on web application development using the Laravel (PHP) framework for server-side rendering and JavaScript for client-side interactivity.
• Later managed maintenance and updates of the previous native Android app for PDF newspaper viewing, working in Java.
• In the final year, designed and developed — in collaboration with internal technical leads — a new hybrid app that integrated:
  The digital newspaper reader, and
  Real-time news, fetched and rendered using React.

I was responsible for developing iOS applications using the native Objective-C language for clients in the editorial and publishing sectors, including Il Sole 24 Ore, La Repubblica, and Wolters Kluwer.
The apps focused on digital newspaper reading in PDF format, through a custom-built page-flipping reader designed and developed in-house.

Main projects:

• Il Sole 24 Ore – Application for digital browsing of the newspaper in PDF format.
• Wolters Kluwer – App for consulting legal news and content.
• Caltagirone Editore – Applications for reading the group’s newspapers (Il Messaggero, Il Gazzettino, etc.).

During my first professional experience, I completed a traineeship aimed at a full-time position, focusing on the development of iOS applications using the native Objective-C language.

• Il Mulino Editore – Application for the interactive browsing of university textbooks in digital format.
• Focus Meteo Meduse – App for the scientific magazine of the same name, featuring multimedia and dynamic content related to marine life.
