In my role, I was responsible for managing the recruitment across our 16 established hotels, two headquarters, and the launch of eleven new hotels throughout Europe. My focus primarily spanned from mid-senior to senior management levels across various departments, including IT, Real Estate, Sales, Brand & Innovation, Marketing, Finance, Legal, and Hotel Operations. Additionally, I prepared the strategic recruitment plan to support the scale-up of hotel openings in Southern Europe.
Reporting into the Global Recruitment Manager my role is focused on managing the recruitment for our 7 London restaurants; Zuma, Oblix at The Shard, 4 Rokas, INKO NITO and Zuma Rome. I focused primarily on mid to senior level managerial recruitment both front and back of house whilst also constantly supporting the current General Manager & Head Chef's on their internal recruitment.
Leveraging a mix of sales, business development, and networking, I actively sought business from client companies. Personal client visits were key to strengthening relationships, complemented by social media use for advertising and connections. I employed headhunting, utilized our database to match vacancies perfectly, and managed applications and interviews with precision. I ensured candidate suitability, prepared and forwarded CVs, organized interviews, and negotiated terms, always aiming to surpass targets in placements, billing, and new business leads.
As an Operations Manager responsible for P&L, I led three award-winning gastro pubs to financial and culinary success. My role involved strategic financial oversight, cost management, and driving profitability, alongside maintaining high standards of service and culinary excellence.
