Research

  • Bachelor Thesis Research - "Removing Dyes from water by Means of Agricultural Waste", In this technique, dyes were removed from water by means of agricultural waste. Efficient methods of removing dyes in terms of Temperature, pH, concentration of dyes, and dosage of agricultural wastes were investigated. The data was analyzed and interpreted, and they were drawing meaningful conclusions for potential environmental applications.
  • Reviewing recent publications about functionalized polymer membranes for controlling biofouling in forward osmosis, In this review paper, we studied various approaches to membrane surface functionalization for biofouling control and mitigation. Surface modification of thin-film composite and asymmetric membranes such as surface coating, surface functionalization, and incorporation of tailored material for biofouling control in forward osmosis were investigated.
  • Reviewing chemistry, abundance, and detection of PFAS in water, We highlighted various compounds of PFAS in water and their structure. Moreover, in this review, we mentioned the methods of synthesizing PFAS and their application in industry, and we also highlighted emerging hybrid treatments to remove PFAS from water, and the paper was published in the Journal of Environmental Chemistry Letters in 2021.
