Leonardo Brocchi

I am a highly adaptable and detail-oriented person with a solid academic background and diverse professional experiences.

Academically, I am currently pursuing a Master's degree in Historical Sciences with a focus on European and Global History at the University of Bologna, where I previously graduated with honors in Contemporary History. Starting in September, I will be moving to Leuven (Belgium) to complete my final year of studies at the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven.

Professionally, I have accumulated various experiences in different sectors. This is because from a young age, I had to engage with the working world in order to pursue my studies independently. Currently, I work in the retail industry as a sales associate at IKEA. However, I have also worked in the educational sector, where I interned at the N. Copernico High School in Bologna; in public administration, where I completed several internships at the Court and Prosecutor's Office in Tivoli; and in the hospitality and construction sectors as well.

• Ability to adapt to new environments, initially developed through various travels abroad across Europe and Asia, further honed through my passion for trekking (in the Apennines and the Alps), and confirmed by my move to Bologna with complete independence at the age of 22;
• Excellent communcation skills acquired theough my experience as an entertainer at Lido Camping Village Bolsena (VT);
• Attention to detail developed through my experience in video production using my Sony a5100 and post-production (editing) with various basic software offered by Windows;
• Stress resilience demonstrated through my 10 years of experience in Freestyle Wrestling, including 6 years of competitive wrestling at the Tibur Coni gym in Villanova di Guidonia (RM), during which I earned a bronze and a silver medal in regional competitions, and a bronze medal at the national level;
• Flexibility and teamwork skills gained through my participation in the volunteer association: Volontario Per Te;

• First Aid and BLSD Certification: obtained in 2017, covering advanced and practical courses in basic resuscitation for adults in respiratory and/or cardiac arrest, and procedures to be performed in case of airway obstruction by a foreign object;
