- Main duties: Planning the KOM, commenting ITP/QCP and procedures, coordinating and performing Inspections and Expediting, reviewing and issuing the reports in a timely manner to Client.
- As Project Manager I work on key account clients ( Major EPC’s ) following big projects from start to finish coordinating all Inspection activities with the help of junior coordinators and performing my self in rare occasions part of the Inspections, Expeditings and KOM’s and PIM’s.
- As Manager for the Technical aspects my duty is to review the technical documentation received and comment until complete approval. Main documentation usually commentnted are ITP’s and test procedures.
- My duty is also to check the reports received by the on-site Inspector and to sign the reports for validation or comment them for any lack in the technical field.
- Another duty is the qualification of agency or freelance inspector and their contract.
- On a typical EPC Contractor the work starts in the bidding phase by studying the market and formulating an appropriate offer based on the information received by client.
- Once assigned the order my duty is to manage the package of orders received and plan the inspection and expediting visits to be performed and give any technical support to client and field Inspectors involved.
- The Bureau Veritas structure is such that all activities are managed by the Project Manager with the assistance of 4 Administrative Coordinators assigned that deal with the accountance.
